On Thursday, we showed you photos from the ground at the Winnipeg Folk Festival. How about from the sky? We have those, too.
These shots from above were taken yesterday at about 5:30 p.m.
Weekday crowds at Birds Hill Park were sparse at times, but attendance records were still broken, according to organizers. Expect the festival site to be packed this weekend, as the weather looks pretty much favourable for a good ol’ fashioned outdoor folk fest. That is, if that slight chance of thundershowers can hold off.
