Relief pitcher Casey Hodges has been relieved of his duties with the Winnipeg Goldeyes, the baseball club announced Monday.
Hodges had a 0-1 record this season and a 6.10 ERA in 10.1 innings. After getting hurt in training camp, Hodges spent the first month of the season on the inactive list.
The 25-year-old debuted with the Goldeyes June 21 at home against the Gary SouthShore RailCats.
The Goldeyes begin the first of four days off today due to the Northern League All-Star Break.
The Fish are back in action Friday in Fargo to meet the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks in the first of a three-game series.
