Folklorama is right around the corner, as 45 pavilions prepare to take audiences on a trip around the world with cultural offerings of dance, music and delicious food.
On Thursday afternoon, organizers held a preview concert at The Forks.

This year’s Folklorama runs August 1-14 and will feature a list of new pavilions, including: the Ethiopian Pavilion, the Sudanese Pavilion and the DOTC First Nations Pavilion. The Argentina “Tango” Pavilion, the Chile Lindo Pavilion, the Paraguay “Heart of South America” Pavilion and the Tamil Pavilion will all be returning for 2010 after an absence.
