After a less than pleasing performance on the field last week, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers will attempt put a W on the board on Saturday.
The Blue and Gold will host the Edmonton Eskimos at Canad Inns Stadium, and will have quarterback Joey Elliott at their disposal should starting QB Steven Jyles not be able to get the job done. Jyles starts for the first time with the Bombers this weekend, facing off against the first team who gave him a job in the CFL.
Beloved QB Buck Pierce is still out with a sprained knee.
Fans in attendance will be treated to a Folklorama performance during halftime as 100 performers take to the field to promote the upcoming multicultural festival.
Fans are encouraged to wear their Blue or Gold Jerseys as this marks the first time that a CFL game from Canad Inns Stadium will be aired live on the NFL Network in the United States, being viewed by millions of Americans.
Tickets are still available at any Ticketmaster location. Game time is 5:30 p.m.
