Local car enthusiasts will gather on Sunday, July 25 for a car show and charity BBQ that will benefit Winnipeg Harvest.
Keystone Ford and members of the Winnipeg Heights message forum will hold the event at Fastlane Tire and Auto Centre, 1310 Regent Avenue West.
Some of Winnipeg’s most interesting vehicles including exotics, imports, domestic, muscle, bikes, trucks, low riders and race cars will be on display. Prizes will be given in each of these categories.
Admission to the event is a food or cash donation in support of Winnipeg Harvest. Attendees may also make a donation through a purchase at the barbeque. All proceeds will go directly to Winnipeg Harvest.
Recommended food donations include canned fish and poultry, canned fruit and vegetables, canned stew, chili and brown beans, peanut butter, baby food; chicken, beef, vegetables or fruit; infant cereal (oatmeal, barley or rice) and formula with added iron, whole grain or wheat pasta, rice; brown, converted or parboiled, canned spaghetti sauce or tomatoes, cereal; high fiber or non-sugar coated and canned soup; lentil, pea and vegetable.
The car show/BBQ runs from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
