An open house on the city’s first transit-orientated housing development, located in the former Fort Rouge Rail Yards, is set to take place this Thursday evening.
Lexington Investment Corporation is hosting the public open house to discuss the development with residents in the neighbourhood. The development will integrate high quality, mid and high-density housing into the century old Lord Roberts neighbourhood. The development is said to be stylish, eco-sensitive and will incorporate a geothermal heating system to reduce its carbon footprint.
The open house runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on July 29 at Lord Roberts Community Centre, 725 Kylemore Ave.
