Boy Drowns After Canoe Capsizes in Falcon Lake

A 17-year-old boy drowned when the boat he was riding in capsized on Tuesday morning.

RCMP say the canoe capsized shortly after 11 a.m. off the Falcon Lake main beach area.

Three people were in the canoe at the time, while the two other individuals made it safely to shore after being rescued.

None of the occupants in the boat were wearing life jackets at the time.

The RCMP Underwater Recovery Team recovered the body of the missing Ontario teen on Tuesday evening.
