The Osborne Street Library at 625 Osborne Street will be closed beginning today for renovations.
The City of Winnipeg says the library will be closed until mid-September to undergo a transformation promised to bring a bright and welcoming space when complete.
Improvements include new flooring, carpeting and painting, new furniture, lower shelving for greater accessibility, and an improved layout for collections, seating and computers.
Osborne Library will forward holds for pickup to the St. Vital Library during the closure. Library material can continue to be returned to the Osborne location during renovations.
Material can also be borrowed and returned to any other public library branch in the city.
