Olympic speed skating silver medallist Susan Auch is returning home this week to teach at a school bearing her own name.
The Winnipeg athlete-turned-Calgary real estate agent is conducting the second annual Susan Auch Speed Skating School at the East End Arena beginning today until Friday.
Skaters will take to the ice to learn from the silver and bronze medallist and hopefully one day acquire the skills to step up on the podium themselves.
Last year’s school was such a success, organizers say registration sold out for this year’s session in March.
