The heat was on during opening night of the Caribbean Pavilion on Sunday. The temperatures outside were definitely comparable to the actual Caribbean climate, and inside, traditional performers delivered a high energy show complete with the popular limbo display. How low could they go? Pretty darn low. If you didn’t stretch yourself before watching, you could almost feel the tension in your own back.
The Pavilion keeps with the hot theme by offering up spicy Caribbean wings, which you can tame by guzzling down one of many drinks from the homeland, including their signature rum punch, or Red Stripe beer from Jamaica. Also served up on the menu is chicken, veggie patties, spicy fish cake and roti.
