The weather today should be favourable enough to warrant the purchase of a DQ Blizzard. Best of all, each purchase of the tasty treat will go to support charity.
Today is the 8th Annual Miracle Treat Day at all Dairy Queen locations across Canada. Proceeds from every Blizzard sold will benefit Children’s Miracle Network affiliated hospitals and foundations.
The Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba will be the local recipient of community support.
Last year, Manitobans helped raise more than $115,000 for the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba.
All funds raised on DQ Miracle Treat Day support life-enhancing programs and specialized equipment at Children’s Hospital and pediatric research at the Manitoba Institute of Health.
