Seven cigarette litter receptacles will be unveiled this morning in the Osborne area to help reduce the amount of cigarette butts finding their way to the ground.
A partnership between Take Pride Winnipeg and the Osborne Village BIZ made the receptacles possible, along with funding from the City of Winnipeg and Keep America Beautiful.

Pocket ashtrays will be distributed to smokers in the area and Starbucks will be providing coffee to attendees.
The unveiling is scheduled for 10 a.m. on the northwest corner of River Avenue and Osborne Street.
