HBC is relaunching five of its Zellers stores across Winnipeg before any other Canadian stores get the same makeover.
Special guest appearances are slated for the Polo Park location throughout the week to help kick off the grand reopening.
Today from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., kids can meet Nickelodeon stars Dora and Diego. From 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., a fashion show featuring “CityLine” guest fashion and design experts Lynn Spence and Lisa Rogers will take place.
On Saturday, Food Network chef Roger Mooking, host of “Everyday Exotic,” will make an appearance and give away a copy of his CD Soul Food to the first 100 guests between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
Next Saturday, August 28, HGTV’s Colin and Justin, hosts of “Home Heist,” will give away 100 copies of their book Home Heist Style Guide at 12 p.m.
A spokesperson for HBC says Zellers stores in other provinces are in line for similar makeovers in the coming months.
