The Winnipeg Art Gallery is planning a Family Sunday exhibition for September 12, that promises to take you to the edge.

Wanda Koop … On the Edge of Experience is a new exhibition surrounding Winnipeg artist Wanda Koop with music, interactive activities and art workshops

Lulu and the Tomcat will be singing songs about colour and imagination for the kids, and interactive games led by Daina Leitold will be offered. Bree Bergen will help visitors create their own art in the studio building.

“Our Family Sundays are always popular,” said Youth Programs co-coordinator Aline Frechette. “However, this one is a bit more special because of the connection with Wanda Koop. We think visitors will be fascinated with the mock studio. They can explore it, then make the connection with the paintings on the walls.”

Family Sunday activities run from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. All-day admission is $10 per family, members are free.
