A fundraiser fashion show will support the up and coming Canadian Museum for Human Rights at The Forks next month.

The Unity Fashion Show will host up to 250 people at the Hotel Fort Garry on October 7, with proceeds going to the development of the museum, which will enhance the public’s understanding of human rights, to promote respect for others, and to encourage reflection and dialogue at home and abroad.

Tickets are $90 and can be purchased at Polo Park Shopping Centre’s guest services counter, Legacy Bowes Group (Suite 720, One Lombard Place) or at UnityFashionShow.com. The evening includes dinner, prizes and a silent auction.

Construction on the museum is expected to be completed in 2012.
