Keilback Returning to Call MJHL Games

September 7, 2010 6:44 AM | Sports

The voice of the Winnipeg Jets is making a return to radio to call hockey action once again.

Curt Keilback will call play-by-play for Manitoba Junior Hockey League games on NCI-FM starting September 23.

Sportswriter and commentator Scott Taylor will handle colour duties with Keilback, who called Jets games for more than two decades.

“With the addition of Curt Keilback as our play-by-play announcer and Scott Taylor adding the colour NCI-FM has definitely put together a broadcast team that
would rival any in the NHL and will be the premiere crew in all of Canadian junior hockey,” said Mike Fabian, NCI-FM general sales manager.

NCI-FM and the MJHL have partnered up to bring 10 games to the airwaves this year.
