Pedestrian access to City Hall’s Courtyard is somewhat limited effective today, as crews continue renovations on the King and Main Street entrances.
Work began in July and now limits foot traffic on the east side entrance from Main Street. However, the newly-renovated ramp on the west side King Street entrance is open.
Renovations to the loading zone and stairs on the King Street side of the Courtyard are ongoing and progressing ahead of schedule.
The James Street entrance at the northwest corner of the City Hall Administration Building is not affected by the renovations.
The city says the majority of work to improve public accessibility will be complete by mid-October.
