The Manitoba Bison football team is regrouping early in the season after losing their first two games to now sit at 0-2.
Head coach Brian Dobie says the addition of so many new players has created a learning curve the Bisons need to overcome, and quickly.
Watch:
The Bisons hit the road on Saturday to face off against the UBC Thunderbirds (1-1). The Brown and Gold will meet UBC a second time this season when they host them at University Stadium October 30.
The Herd is hopeful their previous record against UBC holds up this weekend, as the Bisons have won the last four games against the Thunderbirds on the road. The last time they lost to them on home soil was in 2004.
The Bisons currently sit as the only team out of a playoff spot in the conference. UBC is one game away from first place.
Saturday’s game can be heard on 101.5 UMFM at 3 p.m. CT.
