A free interactive basketball festival and 3-on-3 tournament put on by the NBA will have players dunking at The Forks this weekend.
Saturday’s NBA Jam Session will include Thaddeus Young from the Philadelphia 76ers, a performance by Buckets Blakes of the Harlem Globetrotters and dance moves from the Raptors Dance Pak. Festivities will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
On Sunday, players in the 19+ division will compete in a 3-on-3 tournament from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a berth in the National Finals in Toronto. The top two teams will be showcased at half-time of a Toronto Raptors pre-season game at Air Canada Centre.
