A new door-to-door fundraising campaign that supports the Winnipeg Humane Society might be ringing your doorbell this weekend.

The WHS was selected by MediaScene as the recipient of their newest campaign that will send one lucky donor and their family to Disneyland.

MediaScene team members wearing yellow jackets are starting to make the rounds in Winnipeg neighbourhoods to raise funds and give away some great prizes, all in support of the animal shelter.

The fundraising package valued at $370 contains gift certificates for a free pizza from Panago, a free tax return from Liberty Tax Service, a free pony ride and maze admission to Amaze in Corn and a free two-week pass to Shapes Fitness Centres. Five dollars from the $25 certificate package will be donated to the WHS.

Canvassing will begin this weekend and will run throughout the fall. The MediaScene team members will be identifiable by their bright yellow jackets with WHS and MediaScene logos, as well as picture ID badges.

Gift certificate packages can also be purchased inside the WHS Gift Shop at 45 Hurst Way.

Each purchase will get you an entry into the grand prize draw for a trip to the Disney theme park in Anaheim.
