Folk Festival’s Fall Concert Series Switches Up Venues

The Winnipeg Folk Festival has changed venues for a number of upcoming concerts its presenting.

As part of the Folk Festival’s 2010 Fall Concert Series, Justin Nozuka’s show on September 21 has been moved to the West End Cultural Centre. Tickets are still available for $23.00 at Ticketmaster.

Owen Pallet’s show on October 28 has been moved to the Gas Station Theatre. Opening for Pallett is Little Scream, a Cat Power-inspired singer-songwriter. Tickets are $25.00 at Ticketmaster.

The Weakerthans — 4 Albums Over 4 Nights on December 16 and 17 is sold out. Tickets are still available for their returning show on December 15 at The Albert for $29.50, and their Songs from Reunion Tour at the Burton Cummings Theatre on December 18 for $29.50.
