In support of the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, Tim Hortons is offering a special smiling chocolate chip cookie for $1.00 plus tax with all proceeds being donated to the foundation.
Proceeds from the sale of the cookies will help purchase specialized surgical instruments critical for use in operating rooms at Children’s Hospital. The instruments are specifically used for many abdominal surgeries like appendectomies or gall bladder operations
The “Smile Cookie” program has been on the receiving end of support from Tim Hortons since 1986. The initiative began in Hamilton, Ontario and has stretched across Canada to help a variety of charities, hospitals and community programs.
