A second public open house looking at the proposed Fort Rouge Yards housing development project will be held tonight.
The developer will be sharing revised plans with residents as the result of a recent traffic study and community consultations.
Lexington Investment Corporation will discuss the city’s first transit-oriented development, located in the former Fort Rouge Rail Yards. It will also share the results of in-depth studies of the development’s potential impact on water and sewer systems.
The first open house was held in July and raised many concerns with residents living in the area.
Tonight’s open house will be held at Lord Roberts School, 665 Beresford Ave., from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
