Sturgeon Heights Collegiate will benefit later this week from a fundraiser in partnership with Fort Motor Company of Canada.

Community members will help raise up to $6,000 in Ford’s Drive One 4 UR School program on Friday, October 1 during the varsity football game.

For every participant who test drives a 2010 Fiesta, Mustang, Fusion, Taurus, Edge, Escape and F-150, Ford will donate $20 to the school.

All proceeds raised will go to support the school’s graduation committee

“It’s important that students continue to have opportunities to participate in activities like year-end graduations and we’re very proud to be partnering with the grad committee to put on this fun event,” said Barry Skrudland, General Manager at River City Ford.

The test drives run from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday at Sturgeon Heights Collegiate. A fundraising BBQ will also be provided.
