Police Bust Rural Manitoba Grow-Op Worth $1.7M

A drug bust in the RM of Woodlands has taken 1,700 marijuana plants valued at $1.7 million off the streets.

Stonewall RCMP executed a search warrant on a property in the rural Manitoba area on Wednesday and took two people into custody.

A 32-year-old man from Winnipeg and a 31-year-old man from Burnaby, B.C. are facing drug charges.

No names have been released, as charges have not yet been formally laid.
