Bisons Travel to Saskatchewan to Battle the Huskies

October 1, 2010 6:52 AM | Sports

The Manitoba Bisons need to win at least three out of their next four football games to have a good shot at making the playoffs, according to head coach Brian Dobie.

The Bisons narrowly lost their game last weekend to the Calgary Dinos 26-25 at University Stadium, and with a shaky start to the season as it is, it’s all on the line tonight in Saskatoon.

Watch:

The Herd is facing off against the #9 ranked Saskatchewan Huskies at 8 p.m. (101.5 UMFM) and will likely remember the last time they met the Huskies, where they suffered a huge 31-11 loss at home during the 2009 season.

Saskatchewan is currently one game out of first place, as the Bisons will look to desperately secure their position outside of the regular season.

The Bisons have allowed ten sacks in four games, while the Huskies have allowed 16, good for sixth best in Canada West.
