A weekend rollover about 10 km southeast of Elkhorn, Manitoba has claimed the life of a man from the RM of Wallace.
RCMP say a 1995 Ford pickup truck was travelling eastbound on a gravel round Sunday afternoon when the driver lost control and rolled into a ditch.
The 22-year-old driver was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. His 16-year-old female passenger from Teulon was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Speed and seat belt use are considered factors in the collision, according to police.
The name of the deceased hasn’t been released.
