Former Winnipeg Blue Bomber and current QX 104 morning co-host Troy Westwood is heading to a TV screen near you.
The 43-year-old has earned a place on an upcoming episode of “Wipeout Canada,” a spin-off of the original American reality series.
Westwood will compete to win the top prize of $50,000 as he makes his way through the challenging course.
A total of 44,619 people applied, but only 260 made the cut. Besides Westwood, there will be 12 other contestants from Manitoba competing.
Production will begin this Saturday, October 8 and the show will air on TVtropolis in the spring of 2011.
