Prime Minister Stephen Harper is in Winnipeg today, where he’ll take part in a photo op and event this afternoon at Bristol Aerospace on Berry Street.

Harper will be joined by Public Safety Minister Vic Toews, Industry Minister Tony Clement and Minister of State Steven Fletcher.

Details on the event are limited, but it won’t be Harper’s only stop while in the city. The PM will attend a Conservative Party fundraiser in the evening at Canad Inns Polo Park.

Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff is also in Winnipeg today and Friday as part of his cross-country Open Mike tour. Ignatieff will deliver a speech at 6:30 p.m. at Tyndall Park Community School, and then campaign at Winnipeg Harvest on Friday.
