While many will be preparing a Thanksgiving feast on Monday, football fans know where to be instead.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers host the BC Lions with rookie quarterback Alex Brink at the helm. Brink will make his first professional start with the Bombers after the team benched Steven Jyles earlier in the week.

The colour on game day will be pink, as the football club has teamed up with the Keeping Abreast Foundation in order to raise funds for breast cancer research. Pink Bomber logo’d toques and scarves will be available for $20 each, with all proceeds going to the Keeping Abreast Fund. As well, players have been practicing all week in pink Reebok gloves that are currently up for auction.

The Bombers made numerous roster moves this week, signing import defensive back Johnny Sears and import defensive end Redmond Willis to the practice roster on Wednesday. On Friday, the team signed non-import defensive lineman Fernand Kashama to the practice roster.

Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. at Canad Inns Stadium.
