The railway crossing on Church Avenue between Keewatin Street and Muir Road will close Wednesday at 9 a.m. for repairs.

The city says westbound and eastbound traffic on Church will be affected until the crossing reopens at 6 p.m. the same day.

Then on Thursday, the city will close Church Avenue again, but between Milner Street and Bunting Street for similar repairs at another railway crossing.

Thursday’s closure will also only last from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Motorists are reminded to allow additional travel time and to use alternate routes.
