Filmmaker John Waters’ public address on November 4 has been moved to the Garrick Centre due to overwhelming demand.

Organizers previously announced that Waters will give a talk as part of My City’s Still Breathing, a symposium exploring the arts, artists and the city.

The symposium, which runs November 4-7, is planned as a part of the Winnipeg Cultural Capital of Canada 2010 program.

Tickets are $25 at the Winnipeg Arts Council, McNally Robinson Booksellers and online at ArtsForAll.ca. Tickets previously purchased that specify the location as the Winnipeg Art Gallery will be honoured at the Garrick Centre.
