A new concert series featuring an ex-pat Winnipeg duo will debut Thursday, November 4 at the Gas Station Arts Centre.
Twilight Hotel features Brandy Zdan and Dave Quanbury, who together bring a musical style that is dark, moody and rooted in some kind of nostalgic passion for scratchy records and vintage guitar tones.
The pair has been combining their talents for eight years and now reside in Austin, Texas. Their 2008 album, Highway Prayer, earned them a 2009 JUNO nomination for “Roots & Traditional Album of the Year.”
The Gas Station Arts Centre is coming off much success from its summer patio concert series, that they decided to have an indoor concert series as the temperatures begin to cool.
The show kicks off at 8 p.m. on the 4th. Tickets are $30 at the door.
