RCMP are investigating a $2 million blaze at E & R Furnishings and Millwork on the Elm River Hutterite colony near Portage la Prairie.
The fire broke out early Wednesday morning in the wood shop and was fully engulfed when crews arrived at around 1:30 a.m.
The entire building and all of its contents were destroyed as a result of the blaze.
There were no injuries and police continue to investigate the cause.
Members of the colony say they will rebuild the factory eventually.
