The Provencher Bridge will be closed this weekend as crews perform bridge deck joint repairs. It’s the second weekend in a row that the bridge will be shut down.
The closure is in effect from 7 p.m. tonight until 5 a.m. on Monday, November 1.
The bridge will be closed from Waterfront Drive on the west to Tache Avenue on the east, affecting all vehicle traffic.
Motorists can use the Louise Bridge, Disraeli Bridge, Redwood Bridge or Chief Peguis Trail to the north and Main and Norwood Bridges to the south.
The Esplanade Riel sidewalk will remain open for pedestrian traffic.
Winnipeg Transit routes 10, 43, and 110 will be affected.
