For the first time this season, the Manitoba Bison women’s hockey team will meet the Calgary Dinos, one of the top teams in the league.
The Bisons might catch a break, as the Dinos’ newest player and conference scoring leader Hayley Wickenheiser will not be present. Wickenheiser is on Team Canada’s roster for the 2010 4 Nations Cup, which started Tuesday in St. John’s, NL and runs until Saturday.

The Bisons are ranked fifth in the CIS going into Calgary, where they will face the Dinos on Friday and Saturday nights at 8:30 p.m. CT.
