To say the Manitoba Bison men’s basketball team has a pretty good shot of becoming 6 and 1 after this weekend would be an understatement.
The Bisons (4-1) host Thompson Rivers University tonight and Saturday at the Investors Group Athletic Centre, who currently sit in last place in Canada West standings at 0-6.
The Herd only has one loss so far this season, which they suffered to Victoria on November 5 while on the road. The Bisons are one spot behind Regina for the first place position.
Both games begin at 8 p.m., with the women taking to the court at 6 p.m. to also face off with Thompson Rivers.
Next door at the Max Bell Arena, the Bison men’s hockey team will go up against Calgary at 7 p.m. tonight and Saturday.
