In a rematch of last year’s final between the St. Paul’s Crusaders and Oak Park Raiders, the two high school football teams will duke it out again tonight at Canad Inns Stadium.
The Crusaders (7-0) won the championship last year, and go into the game undefeated this season against the 6-1 Raiders.
The Anavets Bowl broadcast will go live at 7:30 p.m. on Shaw TV if you can’t make it down in person, with reporter Kim Babij on the sidelines and Mike Beauregard and Matt Sheridan on play-by-play and colour commentating duties.
In what’s expected to be just as an exciting showdown as last year, the evening will kick off with the Vidruk “AA” Division Championship at 5 p.m. as the Kildonan East Reivers take on the Murdoch MacKay Clansmen in the Free Press Bowl.
