The head of the National Film Board of Canada (NFB) is coming to Winnipeg on November 25 to hear about the stories that matter most to Winnipeggers.
Tom Perlmutter became head of the NFB in 2007, and has made greater access to the organization a priority. He has been responsible for spearheading a sweeping digital transformation, launching a range of interactive digital projects and expanding the NFB’s e-cinema network.
Perlmutter will also share information about the new directions the NFB is taking and let people know about all the ways they can now access NFB productions.
Winnipeg is just one stop on Perlmutter’s cross-Canada tour and will take place at McNally Robinson Grant Park at 5 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
