A search warrant on two apartments in the Burntwood area turned up an unusual find for RCMP on Thursday.
Cocaine, marijuana and money were seized during the searches, as well as a small quantity of explosives.
There was not an immediate danger, as RCMP say the explosives were in a non-hazardous state, after consulting with the Explosives Disposal Unit (EDU) in Winnipeg.
The explosives were removed and disposed of in a safe manner.
Nathan Daniel Sundevic, 24, of Thompson faces a number of charges and will remain in custody until his court appearance on November 22.
