It won’t be long before Manitoba’s ski hills are packed with fresh snow for winter enthusiasts to enjoy, so best to get your gear ready.
A community ski equipment sale, organized by the Cross Country Ski Association of Manitoba (CCSAM), will take place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Windsor Park Nordic Centre, 10 Des Meurons.
New and used cross country ski equipment and accessories will be available to buy and sell in the Swap Shop. Knowledgeable volunteers and local retailers will be available to assist people with their purchases and to pass on valuable information about the programs offered by the CCSAM and the cross country ski clubs of Manitoba.
Anyone wishing to consign their used equipment must do so today prior to the sale from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Photo ID is required.
Admission to the Swap Shop is $1 each or $2 for a family. A total of 15% commission on all goods sold will be retained by the non-profit CCSAM.
