Warm up those dialing fingers, as tickets for the 22nd annual Dauphin’s Countryfest go on sale first thing Monday morning.
The music festival usually sells out in just a few hours, and this year is expected to be no exception.
Country music fans will gather June 30 to July 3, 2011 to see headliner Toby Keith, 2010 American Country Music Award nominee.
Other acts include Eric Church, known for his hits Smoke a Little Smoke and Love Your Love the Most, Doc Walker, George Canyon and Johnny Reid.
The festival has sold out every year since 2005, leaving many fans disappointed when they miss out on the chance to buy tickets. The demand is so high that many tickets later show up on Kijiji and eBay for two or three times their value.
Beginning at 9 a.m., tickets can be purchased by calling 1-800-361-7300, or in person at the Countryfest office at 28 2nd Avenue NE in Dauphin.
Ticket prices and package information is available at Countryfest.ca.
