The River East Kodiaks and Lord Selkirk Royals are going to the high school girls’ volleyball finals. The two teams defeated rivals Crocus Plains and St. Mary’s 3-1, respectively, on Wednesday evening.

The Kodiaks and Royals will now battle for the 2010 Boston Pizza AAAA Girls Provincial Championship on Monday evening at the Investors Group Athletic Centre.

Tonight, it’s all about the boys, as the number one ranked Dakota Lancers face the fourth-ranked John Taylor Pipers at 6 p.m. Following that exciting matchup, the Lord Selkirk Royals (3) will play the Mennonite Brethren Hawks (2) at 8 p.m. One team will come out on top when it’s all said and done Monday night, following the girls’ finals.

The girls take to the floor at 6 p.m., followed by the boys at 8 p.m. Both games will be televised on Shaw TV and take place at the IGAC.

Tickets to the semi-finals are $5, $7 for the finals, or $10 for a tournament pass.
