An 80-year-old Anola man was killed Thursday afternoon after a head-on collision on Highway 302.
The crash happened shortly after 3:30 p.m. about 3 km north of Highway 15 in the RM of Springfield.
RCMP say the man was driving southbound in a Dodge Stratus when he collided with a northbound Chevrolet Cavalier. The driver of the Cavalier, a 19-year-old Anola woman, was taken to hospital in Beausejour and then transferred to the Health Sciences Centre in stable condition.
Poor driving conditions are a contributing factor and alcohol has been ruled out.
