The rosters for December’s CJHL Prospects Game in Dauphin have been announced and includes a Winnipeg prospect.
Forward Shane Gingera of the Winnipeg Saints made the squad, as did goaltender Jason Kasdorf of Portage, and forward Mitch VanTeeling of Dauphin on Team West.
The sixth annual game is set for December 7-8 at Credit Union Place, where young players will be working to catch the eye of NHL scouts.
Team West is composed of players from the CJHL’s five western leagues, which include the British Columbia Hockey League, Alberta Junior Hockey League, Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, Manitoba Junior Hockey League and Superior International Junior Hockey League.
Team East was selected from the CJHL’s five eastern leagues, which include the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League, Ontario Junior Hockey League, Central Hockey League, Ligue de hockey junior AAA du Québec and Maritime Hockey League.
A two-game ticket pack is on sale for $20 or single game tickets can be purchased for $12 and $5 (students).
