Due to mild temperatures this weekend, the city says crews were able to complete plowing of residential streets in Winnipeg.
The overnight parking ban was lifted at 6:01 a.m. today, as plowing was completed ahead of schedule.
Despite the ban being lifted, a number of residential streets in the city still have not been plowed, according to some residents.
ChrisD.ca readers were raising concerns of their impassable streets late Saturday and into Sunday morning. However, city spokesperson Steve West says crews are expected to be finished clearing snow by the end of today.
No other parking bans are currently in place at this time.
