Overnight Parking Ban on Snow Routes Starts December 1

By Tyler Sutherland

Just like Christmas, the annual snow route overnight parking ban is approaching for another year.

Starting Wednesday, you cannot park your vehicle on a street designated as a snow route between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. until March 1, 2011.

The city may also issue an overnight residential parking ban after a large snowfall, in which vehicles cannot be parked on streets not designated at snow routes between midnight and 6 a.m.

Violators may be ticketed or towed for not following parking ban restrictions.
