City Continuing Snow Plowing Operations

November 30, 2010 12:24 PM | News

The unexpected and large accumulation of snow Winnipeg received on Monday has forced plows to hit the streets once again.

Plowing and sanding will take place on regional streets beginning tonight at 8 p.m., and bus and collector routes will be plowed and sanded beginning Wednesday at 8 a.m.

Sidewalks are also being replowed due to blowing snow.

The Snow Route Overnight Parking Ban also goes into effect at 2 a.m. Wednesday and will last until March 1, 2011.

This week’s cleanup is estimated to cost $2 million.
