The biggest rivalry in university sports will come to a head Thursday and Friday during the 20th annual Duckworth Challenge.
The U of M Bisons and University of Winnipeg Wesmen will kick things off with both men’s and women’s basketball teams meeting each other at the Duckworth Centre tomorrow beginning at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
The Challenge will be completed the following night with the Bison and Wesmen men’s and women’s volleyball teams facing off at the Investors Group Athletic Centre.
As head coach Garth Pischke says, it’s a great rivalry going back several years…

Manitoba won last year’s challenge in both sports and will hope to repeat the winnings again this year.
