Santa Claus will trade in his sleigh for a Winnipeg Transit bus beginning today until December 24, collecting cash donations for the Christmas Cheer Board.
The Santa Bus (#272) will be on several routes throughout the city:
- #11 Portage -Kildonan, December 1-5
- #14 Ellice-St. Mary’s, December 6-12
- #16 Osborne-Selkirk, December 13-19
- #18 Corydon, December 20-24
The Santa Bus collected over $16,000 for the Cheer Board last year, and since its inception in 1985, has raised over $304,000 in donations.
